  • IT Technician at WHUS Radio

    WHUS Radio is looking for a motivated, self directed, cool, radio loving student who's interested in helping the station with IT related issues.

     

    Supervised by the General Manager and working with the Program Coordinator and Chief Operator the IT Technician will:

     

    • Maintain and upgrade equipment in the WHUS studios.

    • Maintain computer systems in the studios and offices.

    • Maintain and configure WHUS file servers.

    • Organize and manage access to the digital music library.

    • Assist and train the WHUS Staff in use of studio technology and computers.

    • Time permitting, assist with special projects including but not limited to: App development, web development, new studio technology, etc.

     

    Preferred qualifications

    • Proficiency with Mac, Windows, and Ubuntu Linux computer systems, Adobe Audition and the Adobe Creative Cloud.

    • Experience in radio engineering and sound engineering, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting audio equipment.

     

    This job is for 10 hours per week, with flexible office hours
