    Water, Water Everywhere

    Paean to a Vanishing Resource

a traveling media exhibition curated by Jennifer Heath

Water is the world’s most crucial commodity and the basis for all earthly life. Its preservation and protection may be our greatest environmental challenge. The global water crisis affects everyone, from those lacking enough to those experiencing uncontrollable floods that wipe away homes and land and wildlife.

Water, Water Everywhere is comprised of 30second to 30minute films from forty-one artists worldwide exploring water issues from the political to the personal and from ethics to aesthetics, with works that are documentary, experimental, educational, humorous, solemn, animated or acted.

Water, Water Everywhere will travel to arts, educational, environmental, science and other organizations and institutions beginning in March 2012, and be offered in a variety of choices:

At The Alexey von Schlippe Gallery of Art it will be shown as a gallery exhibition of looped films, to accompany a 2 and 3D art exhibition about water from regional artists, curated by Julia Pavone, with the remainder of the Water, Water films having special screenings. This Exhibition will run from September 11th through October 24th, 2015.

The Opening Reception will be held on Friday Sept.11th from 6-8pm.
