We are interested in how people react to different types of images. In this research study, you will see a series of images and answer some questions about yourself. We will record your heart rate, blood pressure, and brain waves, using non-invasive, painless physiological equipment in the electrophysiology lab on the UConn Storrs campus. You can earn up to $20 for your participation.
To be eligible you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Identify as Black/African-American
- Be a native English speaker
- Have normal or corrected-to-normal vision and hearing
- Be right-handed
- Have no history of traumatic brain injury, heart problems, epilepsy, or seizures
