Storrs Finals Rescheduling Deadline - April 24th
Bunched exams? Do you already know of a conflict?
If students have bunched finals or any other “known conflicts” (religious observation, qualifying events or appointments) that may require the rescheduling of a final, students must seek permission to reschedule between April 1st through April 24th.
Where should students go?
Students with bunched finals can go to the i-Center desk in the front of the Wilbur Cross Building.
Students with other conflicts should see the Dean of Students Office on the 2nd floor of the Wilbur Cross Building.
If students do not request permission for known conflicts before April 24th, permission will not be granted. Also, be aware that for students with three exams in one day, the exam that will be rescheduled is the middle exam.
What about after April 24th?
If an emergency arises after April 24th (death in the family, emergency medical appointments) students should contact the Dean of Students Office to request permission to reschedule their final.
Students with an immediate illness (during finals week) must be seen by Student Health Services for verification of illness. SHS will provide this information to the Dean of Students Office and that office will inform the instructor(s) of permission to reschedule the final. Students who are ill and see Student Health Services do not need to also visit the Dean of Students Office.
