Fraternity and Sorority Events

  • 3/27 Fraternal Values Society - Apply now

We invite applications for the Fraternal Values Society, due by 12 noon on Fri. Mar. 27.

The mission of the Fraternal Values Society is “To illuminate the central values that guided the historical founding of general fraternities and sororities, and to incorporate these values into the contemporary fraternity and sorority experience.”

The Lambda Chapter was chartered at UConn in May 2011, and seeks additional members who live out fraternal values through their actions. FVS members must be and remain in good standing with their organization and be above the all undergraduate GPA (3.155 at UConn in Fall 2014).

Applications must be submitted by 12 noon Fri. Mar. 27. Selections will be made by Wed. Apr. 1, and Initiation will be held on Fri. Apr. 17. Selected candidates need to pay a one-time fee of $50 by Wed. Apr. 8.

This opportunity is open to qualified members from any OFSL-recognized fraternity/sorority from any class year. Please consider applying – and encourage others to apply – by the deadline of 12 noon on Fri. Mar. 27.
