  • Namaste 2015 Now Accepting Submissions

    Namaste Undergraduate Human Rights Journal is now accepting submissions for the 2015 edition! Our theme this year is human rights at home and campus activism. We are looking for submissions focusing on human rights abuses within the United States, human rights abuses perpetrated by U.S. actors abroad, the reactions of U.S. actors on foreign and domestic human rights issues, or on campus activism and human rights issues on U.S. college campuses.

    We are accepting any reports, essays, and academic writing in addition to creative writing including personal essays and poetry. We will also be accepting artwork and photography. All submissions should be related to this year's theme and be relevant to issues that have been prevalent within the last ten years.

    Text Submission Guidelines:

    Writing pieces submitted for consideration must be limited to a 2,000 maximum word count and all outside information must be cited, either via APA, Chicago Style, or MLA guidelines. Poetry must be limited to three pages maximum. All text submissions should be submitted as Words Documents formatted with 12pt Times New Roman font.

    Art Submission Guidelines:

    Photography, drawings, paintings, and other mixed media art must be submitted as a scanned or photographed PDF or JPEG.
