The Leadership Office is hosting the first annual Lead the Way Conference.The Lead the Way Conference is an opportunity for UConn student organization leaders to build skills, network and renew their dedication to student empowerment.
Current leaders, as well as aspiring leaders, can join us to develop and strengthen their leadership skills, and apply these skills within their organizations here at UConn, as well as in the future. There will be interactive presentations on recruitment, retention, group dynamics, peer leadership, leaving a legacy, and creative brainstorming. There will be a session on USG funding, fundraising and UConntact. Students will also have opportunities to engage with other student organization leaders.
There will be two keynote speakers: Hannah Brencher, creator of The World Needs More Love Letters, and Nancy Stevens, UConn Field Hockey Coach.
Door prizes and free t shirts will be given out.
