  • 3/1 Learn to Knit: Free Yarn & Tutorial

Learn to Knit/Crochet with South Campus RA's!

On March 1st at 5pm in the Rome Community Room, South Campus RA's will be hosting a free Knitting-for-Stress-Relief tutorial. If you have ever wanted to learn to knit, but haven't yet had the opportunity, this program is for you! Also, if you're an avid knitter but running low on supplies, or interested in learning new techniques or crocheting, you are very welcome as well!

The first 15 participants will receive a free ball of yarn (color of your choice) and a free pair of knitting needs or crocheting needles. Knitting is a great way to de-stress, especially when paired with a Netflix or movie marathon in the background. Picking up knitting as a skill just before midterms/finals season can help you get through this stressful academic period. During the program we'll also provide a discussion of other continuing knitting groups on campus, so you can continue your knitting education this semester.
