    Bob Bailey is vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Pratt & Whitney, a unit of United Technologies Corporation (NYSE:UTX) and world leader in the design, manufacture and service of both commercial and military aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines.

    Bob has global responsibility for Pratt & Whitney’s overall financial function, including accounting and controls, financial planning and analysis, cost reduction initiatives, and providing guidance and controls to ensure the company’s profitable growth.

    Bob began his career with Price Waterhouse in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1986 and joined United Technologies in 1992. He has held positions of increasing responsibility across several finance disciplines at Pratt & Whitney, United Technologies headquarters and Hamilton Sundstrand. Prior positions include vice president, finance and CFO, for Pratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engines business; vice president, financial planning and analysis and treasury at Hamilton Sundstrand; and vice president, finance and CFO, at Hamilton Sundstrand.

    Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and is a certified public accountant.
