The Great Oaks Tutor Corps Urban Education Fellowship is an elite one year residency that recruits the best and the brightest college graduates from across the country. Fellows commit to providing daily individualized instruction to urban middle and high school students.

The Tutor Corps is a great experience for college graduates interested in a career in education, social justice, policy or those who plan to pursue graduate, medical, or law school.

Tutor Corps members interested in becoming teachers can apply for the Great Oaks Teacher Residency Program, which provides a pathway to a teaching certification and a Master's degree from NYU's Steinhardt School of Education.

The Tutor Corps experience is both rewarding and life changing. It provides both the opportunity to change the trajectory of the lives of disadvantaged youth, and the opportunity to build an amazing career.
