  • 1/21 Considering an Alternative Spring Break Trip?

Cru at UConn, a Christian club on campus, is organizing an alternative spring break trip to Philadelphia, PA and volunteering with "The Philadelphia Project." Although both organizations are Christian-based, there are many people interested in coming who might not be, and everyone is very welcome to join us regardless of religious background!

We will be having an informational meeting Wednesday, January 21st, 8-8:45 pm in the Student Union (Room number will be announced by email, so please sign up on the google doc below).

Please join us at the meeting to learn more about the trip, and meet others who might be going too! There is no application for the trip, but a $50 depost is due Tuesday, January 27th and can be paid online by credit card or by check made out to: Cru at UConn. There are also some forms we'll e-mail you to sign and return so that we have an approximate number of students attending.

    • Home improvement projects for low-income, single-parent or elderly homes
    • Volunteer with K-6 afterschool program, "Fuel For School" or preschool
    • "Day In Philly" Sunday afternoon, explore Philly and get Philly cheesesteaks together!
    • Meet other UConn students and build lasting friendships!!
