UNIV 1820 courses are offered to freshmen and sophomores looking to explore majors and/or minor options available, isolate an area of academic focus, or expand their interests and skill set here at UConn. Due to their small, 19 seat capacities, UNIV 1820’s enable increased access to the faculty and staff facilitating the sections as well as an increased awareness of opportunities available to student scholars within the field of study.
