"Unexpected Beauty: Art in Chemistry" is the topic for discussion at The Salon at The Benton
Friday, November 7 from 5 - 7 pm
Come view the new exhibition CHEM 101: The Science of Photography and stay for what promises to be a lively discussion with panelists:

• Ellen Carey, artist and Associate Professor at Hartford Art School, who approaches photography as a process of picture-making rather than picture-taking.
Moderator for the Salon is Challa Vijaya (VJ) Kumar, UConn Professor of Biological and Physical Chemistry, whose areas of specialization include photochemistry, protein photoscissors, and nanochemistry.
ADMISSION to the Salon is free. Donations are gratefully accepted.
