It is that time of the year again! Alima International Dance Association will be performing their fall fundraiser show on Friday November 7, 2014 in the Student Union Ballroom. The doors will open at 6:30pm, and the show will begin at 7:00pm. Admission is free; however, donations are welcome. This year, money raised from the show will be going towards the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF). UMDF's mission is not only to promote research and education regarding mitochondrial disease, but also provide support for those affected and their families. In addition to Alima, other performers in the show include The Uconn Chordials, Thunder Raas, the Breakdancing Club, Uconn Irish, and Alima URI! There will also be a chance to win door prizes and, again, all donations will be going towards the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
