  • 11/6 The Law in Action: Energy for Our Future

One of the most glamorized and popular representations of what it's like to be an attorney in the corporate world can be seen on the show "Suits". However, lawyers also work on policies and issues that have a direct effect on us and the future of science and technology. Come listen to UConn alumna Ms. Marianne Dubuque, JD talk about her experience litigating for energy companies and managing land use in an interesting combination of STEM issues in the legal field. No RSVP is required for the lecture portion of the event being held in Laurel Hall 307, but if you are looking for an even more personal experience, the first 5 people to email uconnlia@gmail.com will be able to attend a dinner with Ms. Dubuque from 5:30-6:30pm in Rowe 420. Attending this event counts toward Sophomore Honors.
