Speaker: Haiyink Gao of UMass Amherst
Talk Title: "Upper mantle structure of the cascades from full-wave tomography: Evidence for 3D mantle upwelling in the back-arc"
Haiying Gao is an Assistant Professor at UMass Amherst, conducting research focusing on seismology and geophysics. In a broad sense, her research interests in geophysics, geodynamics and geodesy are to under-stand the dynamics of subduction zones, and to improve and develop advanced geophysical methods.
