Come raise awareness and take a stand against cancer at UConn's Pre-Medical Society's March for Mark - a brief walk down Fairfield Way with music, refreshments and representatives from The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as well as other organizations on campus!
This summer our Undergraduate Student President, Mark Sargent, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and with the support of his family and friends, has been courageously battling it since his diagnosis. Being involved in a number of UConn organizations, Mark has devoted countless hours to the enrichment of the UConn community and it's important that we come together as Huskies to support Mark as he continues his journey in battling cancer and returning back to campus!
A suggested $5 donation will include a cancer awareness ribbon/memory ribbon, in honor of loved ones who have been affected by cancer. These ribbons will be displayed on campus after the walk.
ALL donations will be directly benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - Team "Make Your Mark".
