Jared Demick will read from The Hunger in Our Eyes, his first book of poems. Jared is an English PhD student at the University of Connecticut. He served as the Assistant Director of the Creative Writing Program from 2013-2014. He edits The Jivin’ Ladybug: A Skewered Journal of the Arts. He has published poems in BlazeVOX, Sugar Mule, Long River Review, OMEGA, and Gastronomica. UConn Co-op Bookstore at the Storrs Center, 6:00 PM. Co-sponsored with the UConn Co-op.
