  • 10/10 UConn MHS Concert for a Cause: Ebola Relief

    Come join UConn Medical Humanitarian Society's (MHS) 3rd Annual Awareness Concert! The concert is TODAY, Friday October 10th, 8pm at South Quad! We are fundraising for the 2014 West Africa Ebola Outbreak and we need as much help as we can get! That's where you guys come in: show up to the concert, bring friends, donate to the cause and have a blast!

    Ebola is an infectious disease that often results in fever and severe internal bleeding. Currently, there are no cures for this virus, but hospital care can increase the chances of surviving. This year has had the largest and deadliest Ebola outbreak in history affecting multiple countries in West Africa.

     This cause was chosen due to the very serious cases which have recently presented themselves in the USA as well. It is extremely necessary to push for a cure and help provide the necessary resources. Check out this interesting article for more information:

    UConn MHS is trying to raise awareness about this issue and help provide resources for those affected by this outbreak. So make sure to show up, support the cause and have a good time in the mean while!
