  • 10/8 How to Win an Election: Strategy & Communications

A presentation by J. Toscano, campaign strategist

    Wednesday, October 8, 9:05-9:55AM
    Oak Hall 101

Toscano will discuss the strategies, objectives and tactics behind the development of effective political campaign ads. Toscano, a partner at Democratic consulting firm GMMB, is known for developing sharp message strategy and advertising that tiptoes outside traditional bounds to emotionally engage increasingly cynical audiences. One of his most widely viewed ads featured President Obama and Republican Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey reaching out to victims of Hurricane Sandy.
