HuskyHunt is an online tech security game where you complete levels to win awards from participating vendors and earn points to compete for the grand incentive. We’ve designed HuskyHunt to give you practical tips you can use at school or home regarding computer security, technology, and online privacy. Our goal is for you to understand some of the most common risks and how to better protect yourself, or your device.
The game will start Monday, October 6th and run for three weeks. Each day a new level will appear at a random time with content related to tech security. These levels can be easily completed on your mobile device or computer. Be the first to beat the level and you can win a number of prizes from local vendors. (Top vendors include Wings over Storrs, Price Chopper, Dominos Pizza, and many more) Even if you jump in after the first day you still can win the local vendor prizes and work to complete for the top incentives. Earn points as you progress through levels and compete for the grand incentive of $500 from the UConn Coop.
The game is student focused, but faculty and staff are welcome to play, just not eligible for any incentives.Don’t miss out on some great prizes while learning something in the process. Sign up today to begin playing!
