  • Want to Take Horseback Riding Lessons?

Need to relieve some stress this semester?

    WE HAVE A SOLUTION!

All UConn students can participate in the Department of Animal Science Horse Riding Practicum on the Storrs campus.  The Practicum is a professional improvement, non-credit program.  It is designed to provide practical experience in the handling, riding, and care of horses for those majors who may have careers directly or indirectly associated with the horse world.

A mandatory Practicum meeting will be held on Thursday, August 28th at 7 PM in the Young Building Room 100 (Storrs Campus).  All students interested in taking the Practicum lessons must attend.

Signups will be on Tuesday, September 2nd  as well as Wednesday, September 3rd    from 9 AM until 4 PM in the UConn Horse Barn.
