  • Fraternity Men: Human Subjects Requested

    Hello fellow students,

I am a graduate student in the Department of Anthropology and I am conducting research to better understand fraternity life on campus. If you are a fraternity man, and over the age of 21, I am interested in hearing your thoughts and opinions.

I would like to invite you to participate in a short interview. The interview will entail a private conversation with me and should take only 45 minutes to complete and you will receive $20 for your participation.

Participation in this study is entirely voluntary and your responses will remain completely confidential.  You will not be asked to provide any information about yourself that would permit you to be identified.  The risks associated with this investigation have been evaluated, and the investigation has been approved by the UConn IRB, Protocol#H14-108.

If you are interested in participating in this research, or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Richard Colon at Richard.Colon@uconn.edu. If you have any questions about your rights as a research participant you may contact the University of Connecticut Institutional Review Board (IRB) at 860-486-8802.

I thank you very much for your assistance.

    Rich Colon
