The No-Freeze homeless shelter in Willimantic is an amazing opportunity for fun and easy service hours! We are a wet shelter, meaning we meet people where they are at and give them a bed whether high or intoxicated, our volunteers help check in residents and hand out supplies then relax and talk with the amazing staff and residents who go to the shelter. This is a semester long program that goes three times a week from 7:30pm-10pm (as a volunteer you only pick one night to go per week) and we are looking for enthusiastic open-minded people to join!
