Attention Parents: is your child between the ages of 4 and 6? Volunteers are needed for a research study on language development in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Children with and without language disorders are invited to participate.
The research takes place over 2 sessions approximately 60 minutes long at the UConn Speech and Hearing Clinic on the Storrs Campus. The sessions will take place roughly one week apart, and we will gladly work with your schedule. Children will complete several brief speech, language, and reading evaluations. Copies of the evaluation scores will provided to parents, and children will be given a free hearing screening. Children will also recieve a small prize for participation.
This study has been approved by the UConn IRB, Protocol #H13-313
Thank you!
