Assessment and Statistics Graduate Assistant
Fall 2014-Spring 2016
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight to all assessment initiatives in the department including development, execution and analysis
- Develop protocol and methodology to collecting departmental metrics in a consistent and accurate manner
- Evaluate and analyze data to produce reports that provide insight into attainment of Best Practices and programmatic and departmental success
- Serve as departmental liaison with office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness to provide effort in data collection for First Destination Surveys
- Create reports and dashboard analysis for special projects, as needed
Qualifications
- Pursuing master’s degree or PhD at the University of Connecticut, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Preference given to students who will be studying for the next two years
- Attention to detail
- Data management skills
- Organizational skills
- Written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel
Position Information:
- Two-year appointment: Fall 2014-Spring 2016
- 20 hours per week
