  • 4/26 Language Fest 2014

Members of the UConn community are cordially invited to the 2014 University of Connecticut Language Fest.  The UConn Language Fest

is a University-wide research conference, now in its fourth year, which showcases the many facets of research on language in the UConn community.  Last year's Fest drew participation across many departments and programs, including Psychology, Education, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, Linguistics, Literatures, Cultures and Languages, Philosophy and Haskins Laboratories.  The fest will take place from 9:00AM--4:00PM on Saturday, April 26th, in Oak Hall on the Storrs campus.

This year's Fest promises to be our most exciting event to date.  The day will include talks from three visitors who are internationally known for their research on language and language disorders: BJ CaseyAnnette Karmiloff-Smith, and Simon Fisher.  In addition to these talks, 3 poster sessions will present language-related research from the UConn community.
