    Memory Study: Participants Requested

Please help researchers better understand how individuals learn and remember new information.

If you are a man or woman between the ages of 18 & 24 without history of head injury, you are invited to participate in a research study about memory.  Many women have already volunteered but not as many men, so we especially encourage men to participate, to balance the sexes.

The purpose of this study is to learn more about the relationships between people’s ability to learn and remember, and their judgments about these.

The entire study will take approximately 75 minutes. You will be asked to do some speaking, reading and remembering word-pairs, and making judgments about your memory.  You do not have to have a "good memory" to participate, however native fluency in English is required.

Your participation is entirely voluntary and procedures will be used to protect the confidentiality of your identity and your data. The records of the study will be kept private in a locked file cabinet in the research laboratory and only the investigators will have access to identifying information.

You will be financially compensated $10 for completing the session. If you are interested in possible participation, or have further questions, please contact us:
