Earn four or eight credits over the summer, learn a new language, and fulfill your language requirement! These two classes combine asynchronous online learning and synchronous online meetings in a virtual classroom. By the end of the summer, you will be able to:
• Engage in short German conversations in a limited variety of contexts in speaking and writing.
• Negotiate simple intercultural encounters with speakers of German.
1. Interpret simple German text and media.
2. Reflect on your own and the target culture.
3. Recognize the basics of global engagements through language and culture.
