CT Walks for Haiti, an annual walk-a-thon held in West Hartford, Connecticut, is a partnership between six established nonprofit organizations to raise awareness of and support for the people of Haiti. This year, Operation Unisson, Inc. is one of those six organizations, and is reaching out to UConn students for support!
Each spring, CT Walks for Haiti brings together people of all ages and backgrounds for a day of fun, festivity and charity in picturesque West Hartford, Connecticut. Prior to the walk itself, walkers collect donations from their friends, family, community members, teachers, etc. to be turned in during registration on the day of the walk. All donations are equally distributed among the six participating organizations and go towards aiding the Haitian people.
