  • Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship

     

    Every year, the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi awards fifty-seven Fellowships of $5,000 each and three at $15,000 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Each Phi Kappa Phi chapter may select one candidate from among its local applicants to compete for the Society-wide awards.

    Who is eligible?

    Active Phi Kappa Phi members OR those who have accepted membership and will be initiated this spring, who have applied to enroll as a full-time student in a post-baccalaureate program of study for the 2014-2015 academic year, preferably at an accredited American or international institution of higher learning, and have earned fewer than 10 credits of graduate study or its equivalent before the 2013-2014 academic year.

    www.phikappaphi.org/Web/Awards/Fellowship.html. Submit the complete application and all required supporting materials to your Phi Kappa Phi chapter on or by April 1, 2014

    Jill Deans, Scholarships & Awards Coordinator, will accept materials on behalf of UConn Chapter 059.  She is located in the Rowe Center for Undergraduate Education (ROWE) Bldg on the Storrs campus, room 418.  (Mailing address:  Jill Deans, Office of National Scholarships, 368 Fairfield Way, Unit 2147, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT  06269-2147)  A complete application consists of:

    • 2014–2015 Application Form

    • Official Academic Transcripts

    • Standard Test Score Reports (GRE, GMAT, MCAT, LSAT, etc.). If test scores are not required, attach a copy of one or two pages from your portfolio or an example of your creative work, e.g. CD, DVD, slides, or several pages of a manuscript.

    • Three Letters of Recommendation
