The UConn Collegiate Chapter of the National Association for Music Education will host an event titled “Behind the Scenes of a Successful Program: A Professional Development Day for Aspiring Music Educators.” This event will take place on Saturday, March 8th, 2014, aiming to unite past, present, and future educators. All are welcome to attend this mini-conference! The event will take place in Room 144 of the Charles B. Gentry Building from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Three current music teachers from Connecticut will be presenting on topics including music technology, marketability, and developing a personal philosophy.
