Virtually attend an info session for UConn Pre-medical Society's Alternative Break, "Bridge to Guanin" by clicking on this link. This alternative break lasts for 10 days during winter break where a group travels to the Dominican Republic and provides hands-on assistance in a local medical mission as well as run mobile clinics assisting local doctors to provide medical support to the residents of the communities surrounding Centro Guanin Cultural in La Piedra, DR. The powerpoint attached contains all of the applicable information for this volunteer opportunity. Info sessions will be held in the fall as well and those dates will be posted later on as we encourage you to attend at least one in person session if this alternative break sparks your interest.
