Attention College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Graduating Students:
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) is excited to announce the sixth annual Student Speaker Competition for the CLAS undergraduate commencement ceremonies, held on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Two graduating students will be selected to present remarks on behalf of their fellow graduates at their respective CLAS ceremony.
Students who are interested should submit a typed manuscript and an audio recording of their speech to alldnof@uconn.edu, making sure to include their full name, NetID and major(s). The speech should be no longer than 5 minutes. Submissions will be accepted until noon on Monday, March 2.
Faculty, staff and students from CLAS will review all submissions and determine which ones will come in for an in-person reading.
