What is COPE?
COPE is a one on one mentoring program that works with surrounding Mansfield Elementary Schools. COPE teaches children valuable coping skills through a variety of activities, with the goal of aiding children in developing the skills to handle any life changes or struggles in a healthy way. The program caters towards students who may be experiencing any sort of familial changes such as a divorce, death of a family member, new moves, etc. We hope to create a safe space for the children to share any thoughts or feelings they may have, being someone they can turn to and look up to for whatever they may need.
