    Take HDFS 3080!

    HDFS 3080-Supervised Field Experience is an opportunity available to HDFS majors and minors. You will be supervised about what can be learned and reflected as regard to the field experience and share your field experience with your classmates as well as learn from others’.

    Prior students did their fieldwork in a variety of settings, including law offices, childcare centers, public schools, state government offices, human resources departments, private businesses, child advocacy centers, nursing homes, and elder advocacy centers.  Some were members of research teams, others acted as public policy advocates, and still, others participated in not-for-profit fund-raising activities.  Many reported that their fieldwork experience helped them develop the skills and knowledge necessary for future employment opportunities and/or postgraduate education.

    Note: To take HDFS 3080, you must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in HDFS courses and at least 15 credits of 2000 level or above HDFS courses.
