This event is hosted by UConn's Global Training and Development Institute (GTDI) in honor of the YSEALI Program's 6th Anniversary.  YSEALI (Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative) is a grant program funded by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Cultural Affairs.  This fall, 42 participants from 11 countries in Southeast Asia came to UConn and Brown University to learn about social entrepreneurship and prepare to apply for a mini-grant to start their own social change projects in their home communities to address a local need.  The next cohort of participants from Southeast Asia will arrive on campus after spring break 2020.

Staff from UConn's GTDI office will be present at the therapy dog event to answer any questions and provide information about the YSEALI program's goals and the related YOUnited Initiative. Posters of past participant mini-projects in Southeast Asia, which have been funded through the YSEALI grant, will be displayed in the hallway for viewing.
