Sogeti USA (part of the Capgemini Group) will be delivering a presentation on Tuesday, December 10th, between 4:30pm – 6:00pm at the UConn Graduate Business Learning Center in dowtown Hartord (Observation Deck on the 2nd floor of 100 Constitution Plaza, Hartford, CT 06103).
Sogeti is looking to hire individuals that will help support their business partnership with AXA XL. The initial roles that they are looking to recruit for are largely technical, but they are expecting to open up a variety of roles in the near future. They are open to considering international students.
The role that they are currently looking to fill requires the following:
* Experience with Java and preferably one or more of the following back end coding languages;
* Python
* Ruby
* Experience with JavaScript and VBS and preferably Server side Python
* SQL exposure
* Experience with CI/CD solutions
* Colligate studies/concentration in Computer Science

Sogeti has been delivering test services to AXA XL (formally XL Catlin) for ten years. AXA group acquired XLCatlin in Octoer 2018 and formed AXA XL, a specialist insurance provider. In H1 2016 Sogeti began delivering a Managed Test Service (MTS) which runs under a 3 year contract, with an option to extend by 2 years. The key objectives of this MTS is to deliver the customer an outsourced, highly offshore leveraged, cost effective testing service with transformation built into the commercial model to create a best in class independent Quality Assurance and Testing function. The testing services include system, system integration, regression, user acceptance, automation and performance testing.
Sogeti also provide AXA XL with Application Change and Release Management services. The services are delivered across three geographies, UK, US and India. The objectives of these cost-effective services are to ensure that applications supported by AXA XL Central Application Services (CAS)/Infrastructure are being administered in a controlled fashion and to prevent unauthorized or unintended changes to production applications. Our team ensure that all changes are peer reviewed and approved before being implemented in the production environment in a controlled manner
