  • Electronic Transcripts Coming Tomorrow

The Registrar’s office is pleased to announce that a new transcript request process will be launched tomorrow on December 4th.  This new process will be quicker, easier, and more user-friendly for our students and alumni.

    New: Electronic Official Transcripts

    • Electronic transcripts will be transmitted quickly via secure PDF to any email address that the student selects.
    • Electronic official transcripts are now widely accepted around the world.
    • These can be used in professional and graduate school applications, for licensing boards, and to verify graduation or enrollment for many purposes where official transcripts are required.

Improved Ordering Process: Paper Official Transcripts

    • This service will be available online 24/7.
    • Transcripts will typically be mailed within 24 hours of initial request.
    • Flexible delivery methods including overnight express will be available.

Tracking information will be available for both electronic and paper delivery methods. There will be a $5 charge for electronic transcripts and a $7 plus postage charge for paper transcripts.  The University will continue to offer paper student-issued official transcripts directly to students who come to any UConn Registrar’s office at no charge.
