  • 11/19 March of Solidarity

We, the UConn Coalition for Collaborative Organizing (UCCO) and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) UConn Chapter have organized a March of Solidarity to demonstrate our commitment to Social Justice, Environmental Justice, and Women's Rights. On October 21st, the March Against Racism took place in recognition of the need for change on campus. As did the March to End Victim Blaming on September 27th, and the Climate Strike on September 20th. All three movements share the same goal. To shift the culture on campus to one that is genuinely inclusive, equitable, and sustainable to cultivate prosperity in the land and people of UConn.

We will come together for our March of Solidarity on Tuesday, November 19th 2019 from 12-2 pm starting at the Student Union TerraceOur intention with the March of Solidarity is to encourage the University of Connecticut to recommit to its mission of growth, diversity, and integrity, to reflect on its history, and to reimagine its future.
