  • Cigar Smoking in Young Adults Study

    You may be eligible for a research study looking at the effect of flavors on smoking little cigars or cigarillos in young adults.

    If eligible, you will receive up to $120 for your time, and a 2-week supply of cigarillos at no cost.

    You may be eligible if you:

    - Are 18-34 years old
    - Currently smoke both cigarettes and little cigars or cigarillos
    - Do not intend to quit within the next 3 weeks

    If you take part in the study, you will be asked to:

    - Attend 3 visits at UConn Health or UConn Storrs
    - Smoke little cigars or cigarillos provided to you by the study (for free) in place of your usual brand for about 2 weeks


    You will receive up to $120 in financial compensation.
