  • 11/8 Disease Ecology Lecture with SOH

    Join Students for One Health for an evening with Dr. Lech Szkudlarek and Dr. Shannon LaDeau, two disease ecologists from CT and NY, respectively. Disease ecology is a discipline that seeks to understand how a pathogen affects its host and the host's community at large. This is important to understand in terms of human, animal, and environmental health. Big topics in disease ecology right now include measles, invasive species as a result of climate change, and degradation and diseases of the ocean.

    The lecture will be held Friday, 11/8 from 6:30-8pm in SU 310. This is an Honors event.
