Come join Students for One Health and UCCO to discuss Fast Fashion, clothing that is manufactured to be cheap, trendy, and (ultimately) disposable when the trends change. Examples of Fast Fashion companies include FashionNova, Zaful, SheIn, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe and more. To produce these items, it requires large amounts of fossil fuels, water consumption, and grueling human labor ALL of which contribute to negative outcomes in the realm of human, animal, and environmental health.
This seminar counts as an Honors event. The event will be held on Thursday, 11/7 from 6:30-8pm in SU 221.
