  • Passing of UConn student Kyle Savard

    It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of one of our students. Kyle Savard, a UConn Stamford student, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019.  Kyle was a first semester student in the Non-Degree program at the Stamford campus and resident of Easton, CT.

    The Student Health and Wellness-Mental Health is available to provide support to the students at this time of loss.  Stamford students needing support should reach out to the Stamford Campus Mental Health Resource Center located in room 213 or by calling 203-251-9597. 

    The staff in the Office of Student Services are available to assist students struggling with the loss of their classmate. Students needing support are encouraged to stop by room 201 to speak with a staff member.

    For those wishing to pay their respects, there will be a memorial mass on Saturday, November 16 at 10:30am in the Egan Chapel of Fairfield University. Condolences to the Savard family can be sent to the Student Services Office, 1 University Place, Stamford, Connecticut 06901.

    Our condolences go out to the Savard family and Kyle’s friends during this time of loss.
