#ILookLikeADoctor: Film Premiere
Monday, November 11th at 6-8PM at the Konover Auditorium at the Dodd Center (near Homer Babbidge Library)
"#ILookLikeADoctor" is a documentary created by Tanya Miller, a senior in the Honors Program, through the BOLD Women's Leadership Network. The film features the stories of six female physicians who have both common and unique experiences and come from diverse backgrounds as well as different medical specialties. The film seeks to increase the visibility of female physicians, promote dialogue on the importance of representation within the medical field, and to encourage young women who are interested in medicine to become physicians. Light refreshments will be served prior to the film and a Q&A session will follow after the showing. Dress is casual. All members of the UConn community are welcome to attend.
