TODAY Monday, November 4th from 7pm-9pm in the Student Union Ballroom, Huskies for Haiti is hosting our second annual Global Health Panel Honors Event. We invite guests to explore the facets of global health and international service with our special guests: Dr. Kevin Dieckhaus and Dr. Susan Levine. Dr. Dieckhaus is the director of Global Health and International Studies at UConn, and Dr. Levine is the director of UConn Immigrant Health; both have done extensive work in Haiti! There will also be a video presentation from the founder and CEO of Angel Wings International, Myrlande Affriany. While our club focuses on Haiti, the Global Health Panel is not limited nor constrained to discussions only on Haiti! This is an honors event and is open to all UConn students and faculty. No tickets are required for entry and DINNER WILL BE SERVED, so bring a friend!
