UConn's Choose a Challenge Club will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in May 2020! Our club provides students the opportunity to go on a "challenge" somewhere around the world each summer for low out-of-pocket cost while also supporting the local Make-A-Wish CT Foundation! Over the past 3 years, we have gone on trips to hike Machu Picchu in Peru, climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, run the Edinburgh Marathon in Scotland, and starting this year, to climb Mt. Everest Base Camp! Collectively, our club has helped raise about $250,000 for Make-A-Wish CT!
