4.7 billion plastic toothbrushes are produced annually, but 50 million pounds of toothbrushes end up in landfills to compensate. Bamboo, on the other hand, is compostable and made from a renewable resource - much more sustainable!
UConn Students for One Health will be selling bamboo toothbrushes for only $3 on Monday, November 4 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Student Union (Union Street tables).
We are also celebrating International One Health Day all week by hosting various events. If you attend most or all of them, you can win a prize (gift cards, swag, etc).
