Our organization aims to inspire middle schoolers living in Bridgeport towards higher education through organizing & leading a hands-on field trip, which will involve a day trip to UConn in the spring semester. Participants will also be offered an optional service trip to Bridgeport, CT in the Spring. As a team leader, you would be responsible for managing a group of UConn students in preparation for the middle school field trip. In addition, you would be responsible for forming a section of the field trip for the Bridgeport students.
The organization, originally born out of Bridgeport, is brand new to the UConn campus and in its formative stage. It is being funded by UConn's Change Grant and will be shaped by the ideas that you have! By taking a leadership role you will gain exceptional leadership experience and be able to bring your passions about the topic and ideas to life!
