Registration begins: 9 AM
Race begins: 10 AM
UConn’s Student American Physical Therapy Association is holding a 5K Run/Walk this Saturday (10/12) as part of Walktober. Proceeds are used towards assisting the UConn Doctor of Physical Therapy Students in attending the APTA National Conference in Denver, CO in February. Registration will be held on race day outside of the Wilfred B. Young Building. Registration for UConn students is $10 (Student ID required) and Non-UConn Students is $25. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers and free Insomnia cookies will be available post-race for registered athletes.
Please also join UConn SAPTA in their participation in Physical Therapy Day of Service. On race day, SAPTA is holding a winter clothing drive and looking for donations to send to local homeless shelters.
